How to connect unTill to Bistroo

Open the unTill management environment and activate the Bistroo plug-in via the module settings.

Note your unTill API endpoint and authorization code.

Go to the Bistroo Merchant Portal → Integrations → unTill.

Enter the API endpoint and authorization code and save.

Synchronize your menu and process a test order to confirm the connection.

Which unTill modules are required?

The Bistroo connection works with unTill Prime and unTill Air. You need the Online Ordering API module; ask your unTill reseller to activate it if that is not yet the case.

Does the connection work with unTill Orion?

Yes. unTill Orion (the cloud variant) supports the Bistroo connection via the same API. Contact our support team for the specific configuration steps for Orion.

How are table numbers or pickup times passed on?

Bistroo sends pickup times and delivery moments as a timestamp on the POS ticket. In unTill you can configure this as a course ticket or kitchen setting per department.

Can I manage my menu from unTill for Bistroo?

You can import menu changes from unTill into Bistroo via the synchronization feature. However, Bistroo is the primary system for your online menu display, giving you full control over descriptions and photos.

Is the connection stable under heavy load?

Yes. Bistroo and unTill communicate via an asynchronous queue, so peak traffic does not cause delays. Orders are processed in the order they arrive, even at high volumes.
