How to connect Mollie to Bistroo

Create a free Mollie account at mollie.com and verify your business.

Complete the KYC verification in your Mollie dashboard to activate payouts.

Go to Bistroo Merchant Portal → Settings → Payments → Mollie.

Paste your Mollie Live API key and select your desired payment methods.

Activate test mode, make a test payment and switch to live.

Which payment methods are available via Mollie?

Via Mollie you can activate iDEAL, credit card (Visa/Mastercard), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Bancontact, Klarna, PayPal and Sofort Banking. You choose which methods are visible in your Bistroo webshop.

How quickly do I get paid out?

Mollie pays out daily by default. Payouts are usually in your account the next business day, depending on your sales volume and account status.

What does a Mollie transaction cost?

Mollie charges per transaction with no monthly fixed costs. iDEAL costs €0.29 per transaction; percentage costs apply for credit cards. Check mollie.com for current rates.

Can I use both Mollie and Stripe?

You can configure one active payment provider per Bistroo webshop. Choose the provider that best suits your customer base. For the Dutch market, iDEAL via Mollie is often the best choice.

How do I process a refund?

Refunds are initiated from the Bistroo Merchant Portal or directly in your Mollie dashboard. The amount is automatically returned to the customer's original payment method.
