How to connect Stripe to Bistroo

Create a free Stripe account at stripe.com and fill in your business details.

Verify your identity in the Stripe dashboard to activate payouts.

Open Bistroo Merchant Portal → Settings → Payments → Stripe.

Click "Connect with Stripe" and follow the secure OAuth flow.

Choose your payout schedule, configure Stripe Radar and go live.

Frequently asked questions

Which payment methods does Stripe support?

Stripe supports Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay and more. In the Netherlands, iDEAL is available via a Stripe extension; for out-of-the-box iDEAL support we recommend Mollie.

When do I receive my payouts?

Stripe pays out every 7 days by default. After a good payment history you can switch to daily payouts. The exact timing depends on your country and account status.

Are there extra transaction costs via Bistroo?

Bistroo does not charge any extra percentage on top of Stripe fees. You only pay the standard Stripe transaction costs (1.4% + €0.25 for European cards).

How do refunds work?

Refunds are initiated in the Bistroo Merchant Portal or directly in Stripe. The amount typically appears in the customer's account within 5–10 business days.

Is Stripe safe for my customers?

Yes. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified — the highest security level for payment processing. Card details are never stored on Bistroo's servers; all data flows entirely through Stripe's secure infrastructure.
