Frequently asked questions

Can I set different channels per order type?

Yes. You can set a separate channel for pickup orders, delivery orders and internal notifications. This keeps communication clear for each team member.

What information is in the Slack notification?

Every notification contains: order number, timestamp, full product list with variants, desired pickup or delivery time, special instructions and a direct link to the Bistroo dashboard.

Does the connection work on mobile?

Yes. Slack notifications arrive both on desktop and in the Slack mobile app. Ideal for managers who want to monitor incoming orders remotely.

Can I pause notifications outside opening hours?

Yes. In the Bistroo settings you can set a time window for Slack notifications. Outside opening hours, notifications are automatically paused so as not to unnecessarily disturb your team.

How do I remove the Slack connection?

Go to Bistroo Merchant Portal → Integrations → Slack and click "Remove connection". You can also remove the Bistroo app from your Slack workspace via Slack Admin.
