How to connect Instagram to Bistroo

Make sure you have a business Instagram account and link it to your Facebook business page.

Go to Bistroo Merchant Portal → Integrations → Instagram.

Log in with your Instagram account and grant the required permissions.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a business Instagram account?

Yes. A business or creator account is required. You can set this up for free via Settings → Account → Switch to professional account in the Instagram app.

Can I also drive orders via Instagram Stories?

Yes. Via a link sticker in your Stories you direct viewers straight to your Bistroo webshop. This way atmosphere shots and promotions are converted directly into orders.

Are orders synchronized with my Bistroo webshop?

Customers always order via your Bistroo webshop, regardless of whether they come via Instagram or directly. All orders are therefore visible in the same dashboard.

How do I create an orderable post?

Create an attractive photo or video of a dish, add a link sticker with the URL of your Bistroo webshop and share as a Story or post. Customers can click directly through to your webshop.

What if I change my Instagram handle?

If you change your username, the connection remains active as long as your account ID is the same. Should any issues arise, you can easily restore the connection in the Bistroo Merchant Portal.
